Crescent Processing Company has Hidden Fee’s.
Crescent Processing Company has no Integrity. “Promises made, not being held up”

Crescent Processing Company is a credit card processing company that takes pride in the fact we were built with 100% integrity and we are able to offer free equipment to small to medium sized businesses. There are no “Hidden Fees” all rates and fees are disclosed at the time of confirmation of the sale. Our Confirmations department confirms the merchant’s information and goes over all the rates and fees the merchant has agreed to when signing the agreement. We also have 100% recording of the sales confirmations to protect the merchant and Crescent Processing. The confirmer always asks the merchant if there were any written or verbal agreements other than what is in the agreement to make sure the merchant is only agreeing to what they signed and confirmed. The merchant is also given a copy of the Terms and Conditions at the time of the agreement which has the standard rates and fees and ALL other charges listed. This eliminates the “hidden fees” questions or concerns.

Crescent Processing Company Scam Myth’s:

Crescent Processing giving bad leads or appointments.
Crescent Processing not paying ISA’s on their sales.

Crescent Processing Company provides leads for their Independent Sales Agents. These are “warm” leads that are twice confirmed. The merchant has agreed to watch a 5 minute presentation on our free equipment. We depend on the sales skills of the ISA to turn our warm lead into a sale using our power point presentation describing all or our services. ISA’s are encouraged to self generate leads through referrals and going into businesses 5 doors to. A good salesperson would want to do this to help boost their potential income. Crescent Processing Company pays out upon the date of activation of the account not upon the “sale”. During the process of recruiting the 1099 reps the recruiters explain to them about the payment on accounts and they are paid 1-3 business from the date of “activation”. This is also confirmed by the confirmation department which is also 100% recorded prior to the deployment of their laptops. The question asked is “Do you understand that earned commissions will be received in your banking accounts 1-3 business days following the date of activation. Not Sales.

Many small business owners would like to drive up their sales and grow their businesses by accepting credit cards and other forms of electronic payment. In order to do this, business owners need to sign up with a processing company. Most of these companies do in-person sales through the use of Independent Sales Agents who work for commission. Some processing companies use several different methods to take advantage of both business owners and sales agents, and some processing companies are simply scams. Here is how to tell if any processing company, including Crescent Processing Company, is a scam.

1. Does the processing company make a profit selling expensive sales equipment to businesses and sales agents?

A processing company can make a lot of money by forcing their clients and sales agents to purchase and use expensive equipment like credit card terminals and computers. If Crescent Processing Company was a scam, they would not provide their small business clients with compact terminals, electronic signature pads, receipt capture devices, and debit card PIN pads free of charge. Instead, Crescent provides these at no charge at all unless the business owner wishes to keep the equipment after ending their business relationship with Crescent Processing Company.

Likewise, Crescent also provides their sales agents with a laptop computer that requires a deposit but no payment. The deposit is taken from the agent’s commissions in small amounts, and the full amount is refunded as soon as the laptop is returned when the agent decides to end their business relationship with Crescent Processing Company. Even late returns are refunded.

2. Does the processing company hide fees and change rates after the business owner signs the application?

A processing company that uses paper applications can easily change rates after the business owner signs his or her name. The rates and fees can even be changed by the sales agent in order to increase his or her commission. If the Crescent Processing Company was a scam, they would be like every other processing company that lacks integrity. Instead, Crescent uses a completely different electronic application method that includes recorded conversations in order to ensure that business owners get exactly the fees and rates they agreed to when they signed up.

3. Does the processing company give their sales agents good leads and reliable paychecks?

A processing company can leave their sales agents out in the cold by giving them no sales leads, or unhelpful sales leads. Some processing companies do not pay their sales agents reliably or on any type of schedule. Some agents have said that Crescent Processing Company is a scam because they did not receive a check immediately after a sale, but Crescent actually pays their agents when the accounts are activated. Crescent also double-checks sales leads before passing them along to agents.
